This role is critical in the growth and development of our Drones solutions into market. Working to develop our own solutions and build strategic relationships with partners we will be one of the market leaders in Drone services in the UK with potential to have an impact globally. This role will enable market leading solutions creating incremental value for our Drone business.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing and co-ordinating the delivery of trials (proof of concepts and proof of value deployments) for our drone detection service encompassing trial scheduling, site surveys, solution design, installation, implementation and testing, coordination of resource (people/engineers), and de-rig.
  • Preparing and delivering customer training and materials
  • Managing the inventory for the delivery of drone detection trials
  • Managing the pipeline of drone detection trials and coordinating this in close collaboration with the business development lead
  • Providing internal governance both on behalf of BT and interfacing with customers encompassing processes such as HSE and RAMS
  • Providing sales support, including working with account teams/sales solutions engineers/bid managers to define customer solutions
  • Liaising with internal teams for commercial and technical input
  • Conducting consultancy to ensure the successful outcome of trials both pre-install and post install of trials i.e. IP knowledge transfer from 3rd party suppliers
  • Collaborating and assisting Strategy and Products teams with customer and process feedback to further enhance existing capabilities and future opportunities for Drone.

  • Programme or project management, coordinating a disparate set of resources to achieve successful outcomes
  • Supply chain and inventory management
  • Managing internal governance processes such as HSE and RAMS
  • Technical and hands-on experience with UAV,UAS and CUAS technologies and solutions
  • Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into solutions
  • Strong presentation skills – an engaging presentation style that delivers and develops relationships
  • Customer focussed
  • High level of drive, imagination and determination
  • Translator, capability to understand customer language and turn into technical solution and vice versa
  • Experience and understanding of UAV, UAS and CUAS technologies and solutions
  • Experience in an IT project/programme or product development environment
  • Developing senior stakeholder relationships
